WORLDXI Contest Results
This was our best month-ever for contest submissions. Thanks to
all for participating; we appreciate your interest in the site.
The November winner of the Your Own WorldXI Picks was Alasdair
Thomson of Edinburgh, Scotland and his "All-African XI Team". This
team was chosen in honor of Cameroon's recent gold medal win in
the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia, and to promote the fantastic
soccer being played in Africa in spite of FIFA's recent World Cup
decision. Special mention also goes to Alasdair Thomson's submission
of an "All-Dutch XI" and "All World-Cup Winning Captains". Honorable
mention recognition goes to Matt Bowan of Edinburgh, Scotland for
his "Most Charismatic XI".
