March
WORLDXI Contest Results
This was one of our most competitive months ever. The March winner
of the Your Own WorldXI Picks was Andy Dakin of Manchester, England.
Special runner-up mentions go to Samuel Morrison of Glasgow, and
Joakim Eriksson of Örebro. Again, we thank all of those who
participated.
NOTE: Contest Change. Continuing this month, the contest
focuses on the present and will spotlight today's great players.
Sending us your All-2001 WXI teams with today's current stars.
SPECIAL NOTE: Brazil suffered a 1-0 loss to Ecuador in a South American World Cup 2002 Qualifier. This was due to the stellar goalkeeping of José Cevallos and timely offense of striker Augustin Delgado.
